On Day 3, Chhava brought in around ₹45 crore on Sunday. Although this amount is lower than the earnings from the previous days, it still indicates a solid performance, keeping the momentum going from Day 1 and Day 2.
The film kicked off with ₹31 crore on its opening day, drawing the highest attendance for morning shows compared to other recent releases like Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force and Himesh Reshammiya’s Badass Ravi Kumar.

Early estimates from the entertainment tracking portal Sacnilk indicate that the film earned ₹50 crore on its third day, bringing its total to ₹118 crore net in India for the opening weekend.
Alongside Vicky, Rashmika, and Akshaye, the film directed by Laxman Utekar also stars Divya Dutta, Ashutosh Rana, Vineet Kumar Singh, Diana Penty, and Neil Bhoopalam in key roles. The movie has garnered a mix of positive and moderate reviews from both audiences and critics, and it is based on Shivaji Samant’s Marathi novel, Chhava.
Chhava marks the second collaboration between Vicky Kaushal and director Laxman Utekar, following their successful romantic comedy, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, which was released in 2023. That film, featuring Sara Ali Khan, turned out to be a sleeper hit, earning Rs 116 crore globally. Initially scheduled for release on December 6 last year, Chhava was pushed back to February 14 to avoid competing with Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa 2.
